Not one of those wake up late for work, get stuck in traffic, then when you finally get to the office realize that you spilled coffee down the front of your shirt and forgot to grab a tie days; one of those days when you were totally devastated because you realized that you deleted some great photos from your computer?

Maybe you lost shots of your son or daughter’s first birthday party because they were in the same folder as photos that you’d taken when you were trying to sell your house. Maybe you lost photos of a favorite vacation because you were trying to clear out the photos that your four year old took with your digital camera, photos of the carpet or the staircase or the dogs’ tail.

Those someones just don’t know how easy it is to get those precious memories back. All it takes is Recover Lost Photos from Migo Software. How Often Should You Perform a PC Backup?

September 29, 2007 By: Migo Software Category: PC Backup

Everyone has files that they want to protect. It may be music or photos, it may be bank statements or credit card records, it may be presentations, spreadsheets or documents. Keeping them safe by backing up your PC just makes sense.

But how often should you backup your files? Every day? Once a week? Once a month? The answer depends on you, on how often you use your computer and how often your files change.

If you don’t change your important files all that often, you might find that you can set PC Backup from Migo Software to create a copy of your files once a month. If you change a database every day, or your accounting software or documents that you’re working on, you’ll find that you want to backup your files more often - at least once a week or even daily.

Of course, you’ll also find that you have some other options: for example, you can set PC Backup to only backup files of a particular kind - your writing, your music or your photos or spreadsheets. You can set the schedule as well, to match the schedule to your needs.

The worst thing that can happen, if you don’t back up your files daily or weekly, is that you’ll end up working from a backed up file that isn’t quite as recent as you might like - but an older file is better than no file at all, right?

Recover Lost Documents - Because Every File Deserves a Second Chance

September 27, 2007 By: Migo Software Category: Recover Lost Documents

Photos from your long-awaited vacation. Favorite tunes downloaded from a band’s website. The best poem that you’ve ever written, that you’re more proud of than a new parent is proud of their child. A spreadsheet that would have proved to your boss that you really have been hard at work. The first pages of the next great American novel.

These files may not seem like they have much in common; and the reality is that they don’t - until they are accidentally deleted from your PC because you selected a group of files that were surrounding it, thinking they all needed to be deleted and then emptied your recycle bin to free up some space on your hard drive - noticing that it was gone but only after the fact.

Are they lost forever? Or is there a way to give your great files a second chance?

You guessed it: with Recover Lost Documents from Migo Software, every file will be able to get the second chance they deserve - or, more appropriately, you get the second chance you need to track down the files and not have to start from scratch.

Of course, if you’d prefer to make sure that the files don’t get deleted, you might want to look at PC Backup software that will let you put a copy of your most important files on a portable drive, a CD or DVD or even store them online.
